AIDisha Academy is a Pune-based AI training institute running one programme: a 6-month live online course that takes people from no programming background to junior AI engineer readiness. One course, taught by one instructor, deliberately.
Why AIDisha exists
The gap that prompted this is specific. India produces a very large number of people who have completed an AI or data science course, and a much smaller number who can build and deploy an AI system end to end. The difference is almost never intelligence or effort — it is that most courses stop at the point where the interesting engineering starts.
A typical syllabus covers models and stops. It does not cover serving a model behind an API, containerising it, deploying it to a cloud, evaluating it against a fixed dataset, tracing why it failed on a particular input, or keeping its running cost inside a budget. Those are the things the job consists of, and they are the things interviewers probe.
AIDisha is built around closing that specific gap.
The instructor
Every session is taught by Prashant, AIDisha's founder and lead instructor. He has 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, a Post-Graduation in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and a Master's in Data Science & AI, with hands-on experience building production AI applications across AI/ML, Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, NLP and MLOps.
There is no rotating panel of trainers, and no arrangement where a senior name appears in the marketing while a junior instructor delivers the difficult modules. The person who designed the curriculum teaches all of it, which is also why batch sizes are limited.
How we teach
Live, always
Every session is taught in real time, with questions answered as they come up. Recordings exist for revision, not as the primary format.
Build, then explain
Five deployed projects. In interviews, the ability to explain a design decision matters more than the project itself.
Fundamentals first
Python and ML before Generative AI; Generative AI and RAG before agents. Skipping the order produces people who cannot debug.
Paid in arrears
You pay for each month after it has been taught. Our incentive to teach well does not end at enrolment.
What we do not claim
We do not guarantee placement. Our placement assistance is substantial — resume and portfolio building, weekly mock interviews, 1,000+ interview questions, hiring-partner introductions — but whether a particular student gets hired depends on their performance in interviews, and no institute can honestly promise otherwise. Programmes that do guarantee placement typically price that risk into a much higher fee or an income-share agreement.
We also do not claim the course is easy. Six months, 336 live hours and five deployed projects is a real commitment, particularly alongside a full-time job. Students who treat it as a part-time watch-and-forget course do not finish job-ready.
Where we operate
AIDisha is based in Pune, Maharashtra, and teaches entirely online. Students join from across Pune — Hinjewadi, Baner, Wakad, Kothrud, Kharadi, Hadapsar, Pimpri-Chinchwad — and from other Indian cities. Classes run on weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals.
